Guidance Lessons

This page covers the various lessons I teach to larger groups. I work closely with the teaching team to uncover social and emotional themes present in the classrooms each year. I take these themes and build fun, interactive group lessons. You can look at sample lessons plans and explore the various themes from this page.

Critical Services

Counselors are available for immediate responsive services in the case of crisis events. Information about grief, coping with loss, self-harm and suicide is provided here

College and Career Planning

School Wide Programming

I develop and implement school wide programs that are aligned with school goals. This includes peer leadership activities, anti-bullying campaigns, social/emotional curriculum, character education, and other school wide initiatives.

Parent Education

​I also work with the school's PTO to determine topics of interest to this community. Parent Education Nights can be built around any topic. You can also find resources on this page to child development, positive parenting, digital citizenship, mindfulness.

System Support

I also work with the whole of the educational leadership time to create, manage, and assess school policies that support every child. This includes oversight of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
